*Role Overview:*

• Work with product owners and business leaders to:

• Identify data needs,

• Define analytical requirements,

• Execute on the output/solution/reporting

• Deliver insights

• Reporting and analysis:

• Align data, analysis, metrics and technical solutions to build product/business insights

• Design, develop, and deliver analytical solutions, resulting in either self-serve solution or data rooted recommendations to the product/business.

• Determine and execute the best method to gather, model, manipulate and present data.

• Perform statistical analysis to support business/product needs.

• Clearly communicate to share knowledge and findings.

• Present results in a manner that the business partners can understand,

• Ensuring interpretation meets business needs with appropriate detail

*Experience/Skills*

• BS/BA, Quantitative related degree preferred (e.g. math, econ, statistics)

• 2-5 years of experience working in or with business area in analytics/reporting capacity

• Experience with /understanding of Agile philosophy of project/product management (Scrum, Kanban)
 
*Technical Skills/Experience:*

• Extensive experience with SQL or HQL

• Knowledge of Hadoop/Hive

• Hands on experience with Teradata or Oracle

• Knowledge of Excel-pivot tables

• Some Experience with: GitHub, SAS, R, Python or Java (ideal but not required)

• Knowledge and experience with visualization tools such as Domo or Tableau

• Automation (Bi-Auto) portal experience (internal candidates only)

* Analytical Skills/Experience:*

• Business acumen and critical thinking skills

• Strong communication skills

• Experience with large datasets

• Data visualization,

• Extracting insights from the data

• Meeting facilitation skills

• Ability to deal with ambiguity.
