UI Interface Developer with Kibana/Elastic - Irving TX

Role: UI Interface Developer

Contract C2C

Location : Irving TX

Duration of Contract : 6 months

Job Description : We need a self-starter User interface developer for our Application Infrastructure Monitoring of Dockers / Containers Project to create Advanced Kibana Plugin Visualization and Reports.

Required Skillsets : JavaScript development (NPM Modules), RequireJS, AngularJS, , CSS styles, HTML, Java, Hands on experience working with json objects (nested json), regular expressions

Operating system :  Application is on LINUX operations (resource should be comfortable navigating  Linux host and executing basic commands)

Exposure and Understanding of:

·         ElasticSearch  ELK Stack (Kibana is dashboard visualization builder for ElasticSearch based data), building queries in ElasticSearch (http://www.elastic.co)

·         Kibana version 2.4, 5.x

·         Previous skills/exposure to ELK stack preferred, but not required. (Would need to pick up necessary background quickly if no prior ELK exposure).

·         Docker/containers, kubernetes will be a plus

·         Experience with tools like Bit bucket, Artifactory, JIRA, Confluence

·         Understanding of NodeJS, Active Directory based authentication, Role Based Access Control

Others :

·         Strong analytical skills.

·         Ability to grasp and apply new skills quickly.

·         Strong verbal and written communication skills.

·         Ability to work independently or amongst team.

·         Previous exposure to monitoring solutions a plus.

Exposure to Citi process and procedures a plus.
