*Job Title :* Junior Database and Reports Developer – Oracle PL/SQL & Cognos
*Location :* Madison, NJ
*Duration :* Contract
Job Description :
The junior database developer would be joining a senior development team for developing SQL, PL/SQL code for Oracle and MS SQL server databases with given guidelines.
Create ad-hoc reports, structured reports using Cognos Reporting interface. Be part of the production support team providing the business users data to help in customer support.
Work with front-end team on developing stored procedures, functions, packages for various applications.
*Required Experience:*
• Minimum 5 years of experience using Oracle database
• Minimum 3 years of experience using MS SQL server database
• Minimum 5 years of experience in writing SQL, PL/SQL, Stored Procedures, Functions, Packages
• Minimum 3 years of experience in creating and publishing reports on Cognos dashboards.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in providing production support
• Experience in using BI tools preferred
• Understanding of data warehouse concepts preferred
• Experience in Unix / Linux shell scripting preferred
