The Technical Business Analyst is a self-sufficient, results-oriented professional with experience in database-driven systems, reporting, requirements gathering, and quickly determining the best course of action for operations challenges.
Candidates must demonstrate effective communication, attention to detail, and time management skills to successfully deliver solutions to support business goals. Achieving these tasks will require a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in multiple disciplines including: Business Analysis, Solutions Development, Database Development, Reporting, and Communication.
*Qualifications *
*Responsibilities *
• Maintain, and enhance as necessary, database system that automates the merging, duplicate processing, and exceptions identification
• Work with Operations Team and External Business Partner resources on issues stemming from data processing
• Serve as point person for any manual processing that needs to be performed outside of the database, and continually thinking of how to automate those additional sub-processes
• Work alongside Operations Team to gather and document additional requirements, as well as design and implement solution around those requirements
• Translate requests for metrics, KPIs, and reports to actionable, easy-to-understand reports from database system
*Required *
• Relational database architecture & design
• SQL skills including T-SQL development, stored procedures, indexing and query optimization
• Web programming experience with DHTML (HTML, JavaScript, CSS)
• Experience with ETL design and processing
• Highly motivated to succeed, team player, fast learner with strong problem solving skills
• Strong character with unquestioned integrity, ownership of team performance and decision making
• Ability to work in a collaborative manner
• Ability to work with limited support, strong organizational and documentation skills
• Creative problem solving skills with a drive for continuous process improvement
• Unwavering attention to detail
• BS degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business or related field with related work experience within software engineering or database management or equivalent work experience
*Preferred *
• Experience with Oracle, DB2 and PostgreSQL
• Experience in developing and deploying large scale data centric solutions
• Experience in quality assurance and control
