Position: Core Java Developer
Location: NYC, NY
Duration: 12 Months

*Job description:*

- The Money Movement program in our Banking division is undergoing significant overhaul over the coming years. There is significant work to be done on the back end for this system for various projects.

- This involves the redesign of the Money Movement payments flows to integrate with a Workflow product, and move to a service-oriented model for Money Movement applications. The candidate will be a senior developer, with responsibility for the backend Java development on various projects/codebases.

*Skills Required: *

- Strong core Java development skills - 5+ years’ experience
- Experience with Web Services / SOA development
- Good knowledge of relational databases (ideally DB2)
- Solid experience with unit testing / mocking
- Experience with review-centric development model, focus on frequent reviews & code quality
- Excellent analytical & communication skills
- Independent, ability to take initiative without requiring direct guidance

*Skills Desired: *

- BPM development knowledge
- Working experience with Agile methodologies; Scrum a plus
- Experience with automated functional testing
