Job Description:
Sr. Tech Writer - Industrial IOT system .
7-10+ years' experience .
Lead the technical documentation of a new Industrial IOT product (hardware + FW +SW) and create the user guide and user manual.
This person is the only one on the team doing tech writing so they must be experienced and provide guidance to client on how to properly do it; client manager has never done tech documentation before.
Experience in Technical Writing for systems that include hardware, firmware, interfaces, API's, connectors, wiring .
Create Installation, Integration, User Manual and Troubleshooting Guides .
Take technical requirement documents, work with engineering team to understand systems, and create the required documents .
This is not a SW product - it is a system that integrates with many other systems such as web server, electronics devices (requiring wiring) and 3rd party devices.
The documentation must clearly explain how to connect-to, interface with, and operate the system . English language documentation.
Candidate should be from Embedded Product background which includes hardware, firmware and software
