*Description: *

The Performance Testing Analyst will work with the Corporate IT Testing Services team to define test objectives, lead performance testing engagements, and provide actionable analysis to help resolve performance bottlenecks. The testing analyst must have broad knowledge in performance testing methodology & tools, with an understanding of architecture and technology. This position requires a person who is highly skilled at handling complex technical situations and has exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  
*Deliverables:*

• Provides performance testing services for enterprise applications and infrastructure, including: distributed internet technologies and infrastructure components such as network components, and server and client/PC devices adhering to QA compliance and standards.

• Designs, develops and executes performance test cases and scripts through analysis of product specifications and software requirements.

• Oversees and actively participates in performance test execution and the development of performance testing artifacts, including: performance test requirements, defect tracking and reporting, performance test plans, cases, scripts, reports, etc. for assigned projects.

• Provides expertise on performance testing capabilities using Load Runner and mentors others in HP LoadRunner.

• Designs and executes SOA services functional tests.

• Participates in requirements/design reviews, project team meetings, and implementation planning on multiple concurrent projects.

• Organizational skills to allow the development of technical documentation in a dedicated library and the ability to develop new technical documentation for internal/external use.

• Ensures all deadlines associated with testing are met as well as ensuring all defects within assigned areas are reported prior to production deployment with no new issues found post release.

• Creates/supports daily metrics/status reporting to the Testing Manager.

• Designs, develops, executes and analyzes test scripts for Load/Performance/Stress Testing. 
Acceptance:

*Qualifications *

• Expert level of knowledge with HP Load Runner / Performance Center Suite preferred. HP Quality Center is a plus.

• Extensive familiarity with Load runner scripting is required – not record and playback. Multiple protocol experience Web/HTML and Truclient preferred.

• Experience installing / configuring the Performance Center / ALM Suite infrastructure.

• Experience with Windows Server 2012, 2016, SQL Server 2012, 2016 – general server administration background is a plus.

• Extensive experience with a detailed approach to testing process definition and documentation.

• Extensive experience working with Firewalls, J2EE, Web Services, SOA, SOAP, SAPGUI, SAP and distributive environments.

• Applied experience and analysis in designing, creating, maintaining, and executing performance scripts and log defects in order to recommend better solutions.

• Experience setting up the performance environment.

• Complete understanding of software development life cycle management practices and methodologies with emphasis on software defect identification.

• Excellent analytical skills with ability to troubleshoot problems and find root causes.

• Ability to adapt to changing situations with ease and adjust schedules to meet deadlines.

• Ability to think *outside of the box* with a creative approach to testing.

• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point)

• Professional with ability to properly handle confidential information

• Ability to work well independently and in a team environment (onsite and globally)

• Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize and meet deadlines.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
