*Position: Hadoop Developer*

*Location: Philadelphia, PA*

*Duration: 6+ month contract *

*Interview: F2F*

*4 to 6 years of experience in administration of on-premise Hadoop and its related ecosystems such as MapReduce (MRVx, YARN), Pig, Hive, Sqoop, Zookeeper, Oozie, Kafka, Hcatalog, Spark, , etc.

*Experience with building and maintaining Big Data and Fast Data applications *Ability to work independently and work within/outside the team to get things doneusing Open source software like Spark, Flume, and Kafka

*Data Governance, Security & Operations experience

*Understanding of object-oriented languages like Java, etc. and functional programming concepts using languages like Scala (not required)

*Understanding of VM's, NAS, Unix , Shell programming and mainframe systems .

. Understanding of FTP scripting , ECG, TWS, etc.

Should be able to support system related enhancements on Hadoop (MAPR) framework
