Position Summary
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned):
· Installs, configures, troubleshoots SQL databases, as well as cluster technologies.
· Optimizes stored procedures, indexes and SQL scripts
· Responsible for ensuring database configurations, processes, and jobs comply with published standards and policies.
· The ability to write SQL and to create custom reports within various delivery platforms. (Primarily SSRS)
· Interacts with internal and external individuals at various levels concerning technical and non-technical issues related to client's IT and database infrastructure
· The DBA will assist business analysts and other data consumers in their use of Structured Query Language (SQL).
· Collaborate with business units and other IT staff to design and provide systems that meet the needs of our growing business
· Create and maintain infrastructure diagrams and documentation
· Build and implement integrations across multiple platforms
· Ensuring the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability
· Keep IT plans updated (DR, change/access control)
· DR testing as required
· Analyze documentation and technical specifications of upgrades under deployment or consideration to determine its intended functionality and proper integration.
Qualifications/Skills
· Knowledge of network infrastructure, security and authentication processes
· Windows 2008 and 2012 servers (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, DFS)
· Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
· Experience working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
Education and Experience
Bachelor's Degree (BS) from four-year College or University and 5 plus years related experience and/or training.

The DBA\Integration Engineer will be responsible for maintaining the integrity and performance of company databases and guarantee that data is stored securely and optimally. The candidate is responsible for providing database support, performance tuning, and technology upgrades in the SQL environment. The ideal candidate will also have extensive knowledge with data integration and ETL processes and will be able to build and implement integrations on various platforms that have been designed by data architects. (SQL, Scribe, SSIS)
