Title: Java/SQL Developer

 Job Description:

Be part of a team at the second-largest auto insurer in the US that is enhancing and rewriting a custom code quality system which analyzes key information for all levels of IT management. This system uses code quality metrics to build a data warehouse, create reports, open tickets, and present trends to management.

The candidate must be a very solid Java developer with recent Spring experience and very good SQL skills. A background in or experience with statistics is a big plus.

Requirements

·Expert level Java skills, minimum 10 years

·Expert level in understanding, creating, and tuning complex SQL queries

·Minimum of 2 years recent experience with Spring Core and Spring ORM or Spring Data

·Some experience with implementing custom dashboards

Desired Skills

·Experience with SonarQube

·Experience with TFS, Git, and Perforce

·Knowledge of Statistics

·Experience with application monitoring and metrics

·Experience with Azure

·Experience with or ability to quickly learn C#
