Our client is seeking a talented PHP/Laravel Web Developer (Laravel is a MUST) that can hit the ground running. We need this developer to write fast efficient PHP to a high standard, in a timely and scalable way that improves the codebase of new or existing systems. This person will also be responsible for setting direction in our newly created PHP/Laravel development platform. 

This person will be part of a creative team that is responsible for all aspects of the ongoing software development from the initial specification, through to developing, testing and launching applications to production  environments.

*Skills and Experience:*

Write "Clean", well designed code

Experience with software development and implementation projects, including web and mobile, user interface / user experience (UI/UX) design, and related technologies

Produce detailed specifications

Troubleshoot, test and maintain the core product software to ensure strong optimization and functionality

Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle

Knowledge of Linux server environment as it relates to PHP applications

Follow industry best practices

Develop and deploy new features to facilitate related procedures and tools if necessary

*Requirements:*

8+ years of software development experience in PHP

Understanding of open source projects like Laravel, Word press, etc.

Demonstrate knowledge of web technologies including HTML, CSS, Javascript, jQuery, AJAX, etc

Working knowledge of relational databases, version control tools and developing web services

Strive for best design and coding practices and a desire to develop new bold ideas using current web technologies and trends

BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject 

MUST have strong communication skills as they will be doing Analysis with the Business

No on-call support
