Job Description:
A project manager is needed to manage projects that will implement new systems, including body camera and Cardinal implementations.
The project manager is responsible for managing the project scope, schedule and budget and reporting to VSP IT management on a weekly basis.
For COTS  solutions, the project manager will oversee the vendor efforts on the design, development and implementation of the system and will coordinate with IT Division and business unit staff as needed.
The project manager will be responsible for the identification, analysis, tracking and recommending appropriate actions to project issues including those that are technology related.
They will also be responsible for the identification and management of project risks.
The project manager will provide overall direction to the vendor on the design, development, implementation and delivery of legacy replacement systems.
In general, the project manager is responsible for the coordination and completion of the assigned projects.

The project manager must have:
- Extensive knowledge of applications development (minimum of 5 years experience) some of which in a project leadership or PM position.
- Experience overseeing the implementation of a large complex application by a vendor.
They must be able to communicate both orally and in writing, and to work with multiple stakeholders and facilitate collaboration between vendor and IT Division staff.

Required / Desired Skills
Review, analyze and evaluate user/system needs, Required 7 Years
Business processes Re-engineering, Desired 5 Years
Proficient with Microsoft Word and XL, Required 5 Years
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects lasting 6 to 12 months,
with teams of 3 to 4 people., Required 10 Years
Demonstrated ability to train and support end users, Required 5 Years
PMP Certification, Highly desired
