- Develop advanced automation scripts utilizing scripting languages such as Bash, Perl, Python, and possibly others for process automation and subsequent scheduling.
- Manage the systems and application security infrastructure of the project which includes tasks such as generating, renewing, and installing SSL certificates in various systems, applications, and Java key stores.
- Create automation scripts to automate file transfers using file transfer technologies such as SFTP, HTTPS and other methods.
- Systems administration of RHEL servers.
- RHEL server performance tuning.
- Analyze processes and determine if efficiency gains can be actualized through process automation.
- Understands and adheres to proper change control procedures.
- Maintains technical documentation to reflect changes to the environment.
- Develop advanced automation scripts to accomplish day to day tasks and processes.
- Analyze system and application logs identifying potential issues.
- Adding, removing, or updating user account information, resetting passwords, etc.
- Answering technical queries and assisting users.
- Ensuring that the system and application infrastructure is up and running.
- Systems monitoring and implementation thereof.
- Installing, configuring, and maintaining email systems based on Postfix.
- Provide 24x7 after hours support on a rotating basis.
- Perform other work related duties as assigned.
