*MUST ATTEND IN PERSON INTERVIEW*

The division requires analytical support to review data on enrollments and medical and prescription drug claims.

This analysis is used to monitor contract compliance of third-party vendors, assist in development of schedules of benefits and formularies,

and to develop the strategic direction for overall plan design. Although this position requires technical proficiency with SAS,

this position also requires specialized expertise in public health and/or health benefits management.

Individual is able to work independently to gather requirements from end users with various technical and business backgrounds;

translate business requirements into analytic methods identifying data needs and delivery mechanisms;

build analytic models to perform analysis for a wide range of requests to solve business problems;

perform data discovery and data mining; analyze large datasets including eligibility, medical and pharmacy claims, provider, and financial data;

develop BI content (reports, dashboards, scorecards, analytic solutions); and present analytically complex results to end users in a manner that they can easily understand and act upon.

5+ years’ experience in Healthcare Insurance together with 5+ years’ experience using SAS Enterprise Guide and/ or SAS Visual Analytics to develop reports and dashboards.
