Job Responsibilities

This position require strong NMS (Network Management System) background and good Java skills.

The background is, client is currently running on Oracle NMS 1.11 which is reaching end of life and Oracle product support will not be available after Q3 2019. Client has 2 instances of Oracle NMS v1.11 supporting outage management function for around 3.4 million customers in Carolina West and

Midwest jurisdictions. Client would like to have a ‘Like for Like’ upgrade to a newer version of Oracle NMS v2.3. 

Configuration Engineer:

- Works with various application groups responsible for requirement gathering and Configuration specification creation

- Create configuration Specifications / reviews

- Product Configuration and Implementation &, unit test

- Support Testing Activities
