Overview:
· Responsible for providing technical direction and expertise for IT projects.
· Use project management methodologies and System Life Cycle disciplines to ensure successful implementation of projects in support of corporate initiatives.
· Participates on development efforts by performing detailed analysis, developing detailed designs, programming, and testing applications.
· Mentors Application Developers in their tasks.
· The ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization, including senior management, is essential.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree; Master’s degree preferred.
· Five (5) years of experience designing and developing software with the ability to design and implement reusable objects required.
· Expert level experience with various programming languages and tools.
· Advanced knowledge of SQL.
· Experience methodology based development, including agile and waterfall.
· Ability to navigate and work on multiple operating systems such as Windows and Unix.
· Experience with automated unit and/or functional testing methods preferred.
· Ability to mentor developers in programming languages, SQL and development methodology.
· Prior experience in the health care industry is preferred.
