Position Description:

The ETL Developer will develop reliable and complex ETL processes to  support new development of the Enterprise Master Data Management projects.

Supports the full lifecycle of appropriate product development processes  for creating new products and services, including initial assessment and  planning, process design and prototyping, and implementation and  transition. Provides product information, expertise and advice to client,  and serves as client key point of contact for assigned accounts. Shapes  company product-based methodology, strategies and service offerings,  ensuring that they complement and support future business directions.  Assists in pursuing new business leads.

Opportunity for an ETL Developer to join a fast-paced Program that develops  cutting edge IT products and services for a large federal healthcare payer.  The candidate will provide support to the Program’s mission of designing  and building an innovative, cost-effective, and efficient Master Data 

Management (MDM) System.

Roles and Responsibilities:

· ETL architecture, design, development, and implementation

· Support the Informatica environment operations, including, but  not limited to: automation, job scheduling, dependencies, monitoring,  maintenance, patches, upgrades, security, and administration

· Coordinate multiple ETL workflows and data load processes and  monitoring/administering systems performance, including on-going  optimization and tuning of Informatica implementation

· Support and enhance existing Informatica environment and  developing new, complex ETL processes to support additional design,  development, and deployment of the Enterprise Master Data Management system

· Analyze and evaluating data sources, data volume, and business  rules

· Design and implement complex ETL processes

 Required Education and Experience

· Strong understanding of Master Data Management, Operational Data  Store, and DW/BI concepts

· Minimum of seven years' experience with Informatica software and  with implementing complex ETL solutions

· Comprehensive proficiency with Informatica in a DB2, Oracle  Database and mainframe environments

· Very good understanding of Software/System Development Lifecycle  methodologies and the ability to successfully deliver Informatica  assignments

  

· Experience with architecture, design, and development of ETL  solutions using Informatica, release management, and performance  optimization

· Experience with troubleshooting Informatica and database-related  performance issues

· Experience in working with Mainframe environments, UNIX scripting

· Expert in database concepts, logical/physical design, and  development

· Experience in optimizing complex SQL queries

Desired Education and Experience

· Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology or  related field

· Strong organizational skills with the ability to produce and  maintain documentation to support activities

· Experience with Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS)

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
