Position: ETL Teradata Developer

Location: Hillsboro, OR

Duration: Long Term

Visa: only usc or gc for below role.

Candidate should be technically strong and worked in Teradata, Informatica

· Strong development skills around Informatica, Teradata, Autosys

· Experience with databases like Teradata;

· Experience with performance/scalability tuning, algorithms and computational complexity

· Experience (at least familiarity) with data warehousing, dimensional modeling and ETL development o Ability to understand and ERDs  and relational database schemas

· Proven ability to work cross functional teams to deliver appropriate resolution

· Experience with open source NOSQL technologies such as HBase and Cassandra

· Experience with messaging & complex event processing systems such as Kafka and Storm

· Statistical analysis with Python, R or similar (Nice to have)

· The candidate should have project development experience on Teradata SQL etc

· Excellent communication skills

· Experience with creating Business Requirement Document (BRD) and Functional Specification Document (FSD).

· Involved in ETL Architecture and Data modeling tool like Erwin.

· Experience in full life cycle implementation of Data warehouses.
 
· Expertise in different types of loading like Normal and Bulk loading challenges. Involved in Initial Loads, Incremental Loads, Daily loads and Monthly loads.

· Hands on experience in Performance Tuning of sources, targets, transformations and sessions. 

· Extensively worked with Teradata utilities like BTEQ, Fast Export, Fast Load, Multi Load,TPT to export and load data to/from different source systems including flat files.

· Experience in Designing Complex Business and Presentation Layers, shared filters with different views in accordance with the requirements

· Expertise in developing and maintaining overall Test Methodology and Strategy, Documenting Test Plans, Test Cases and editing, executing Test Cases and Test Scripts.
