Someone to come in and make sense of what they need to do and how to operate moving forward. Coach up the rest of the team.
Someone that can punch out the work but also able to communicate what they did, very hands on position.
JD:
3+ years Systems Administration experience (business systems, hardware and networking services)
2+ years Devops Experience (software, software development methodologies, workflows)
Strong knowledge of Linux and Windows server administration (2012/2016)
Experience with devops workflows using tools such as Git, Chef, Puppet, Jenkins, Ansible, Vagrant, etc.
Ability to script automation tools using one or more of Ruby, Python, JS, Bash, Powershell, etc.
Experience configuring and deploying into cloud architectures such as AWS and Azure
Experience with VMware automation
Some experience testing and troubleshooting various Storage methodologies, Block and Object
Knowledge of backups & recovery for critical systems
Ability to diagram workflows and clearly communicate ideas or solutions Customer Service oriented
Analytical thinking (strong problem resolution skills and process development)
Bachelor's Degree in IS/IT or related field experience preferred
