OBJECTIVE

Seeking the services of one (1) Documentum Application Server Administrator Consultant to provide support for the next phase of the ECM Expansion Project. Midrange Computing Division (MCD) Application Server Administration (ASA) section supports Documentum application servers for the Enterprise Content Management (ECM) program. As part of the ECM expansion plan, there will be several migrations of existing applications to the latest platform. Additionally, the ePR (electronic Personnel Record) application Phase 2, as well as a new department will on-board, and a planned upgrade to Documentum 7.3 that will be requiring infrastructure design and support. Will be responsible for expanding and/or re-designing the ECM infrastructure to support these efforts. 

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES

The Consultant shall perform all of the duties listed below:

Design Documentum 7.2 and 7.3 architecture. Install, configure, upgrade, and patch the Documentum Content Servers, xCP/D2 application servers, xPlore servers, Content Transformation Servers (CTS) and other Documentum software following established standards.

Analyze, troubleshoot, solve server and/or application issues, prepare and implement changes via the established Change Management process, and provide incident reports when requested by management.

Provide technical assistance, recommendations and/or solutions to the application development staff and departments.
Work with software vendors’ technical support and customers to resolve issues.
Provide weekly status reports to team lead for assigned tasks and projects.
Develop technical documentation for managed systems.
Transfer systems’ support knowledge to staff

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

The Consultant must meet all of the following minimum qualifications:

Three (3) years of experience in the last five (5) years as a system architect designing Documentum (7.1 and 7.2 or above) architecture, installing, configuring, and upgrading Documentum software.
Two (2) years of experience in the last five (5) years as a system architect designing EMC xCelerated Composition Platform (xCP) architecture, installing, configuring and upgrading xCP software, including Content Server (CS), xPlore Server, Content Transformation Server (CTS), xCP application server, and other xCP components.
One (1) year of experience in the last five (5) years as a system architect designing EMC D2 architecture, installing, configuring, and upgrading D2 software.
Two (2) years of experience in the last five (5) years as a systems administrator in programming Linux and/or Windows scripts to automate system maintenance tasks.
