technology operations is seeking a consultant to join its network operations center team to assist with the implementation of scom 2012 and scom 2016. the selected individual will require experience with installing, configuring and administering management packs, views, monitors, rules gateway servers, subscriptions, user roles and application monitoring using orchestrator and the scom console. in addition the consultant will make recommendations on how to best utilize the tools in the client environment.

The following are not required for this position but would be considered as a valuable asset in a potential candidate:
knowledge of sql and oracle databases
-strong verbal skills
-need to have strong written skills
-ability to work independently as well as in a team
-create high level technical design and work with a team to implement that design
-customize solutions for client requirements
-working knowledge of unix and linux
-working knowledge of exchange and active directory
-fundamental understanding biztalk
