*Job Description: Sr. Business Technical Analyst, Capabilities & Design*
*Capabilities & Design team, Vanguard*
o Our team is responsible for partnering with our clients to understand their business needs and then translate them into Solution Designs, aligned across the IT systems in their ecosystem spanning:
• Digital technologies - mobile app, web, eCommerce, CRM
• Restaurant technologies - POS, Kiosk
o Our team is comprised of subject matter experts, organized by functional Capabilities, who have a breadth of knowledge across the IT systems in our client’s ecosystem, along with their domains and points of integration.
*Key Responsibilities for this role:*
o Lead the definition, alignment, and documentation of Solution Design within a Capability domain, across all IT systems, throughout the SDLC
o Partner with client-side Digital and Technical Capabilities functions to deliver Solution Designs which meet their business needs
o Partner with internal Intake function to plan for an appropriate balance of capacity utilization (supply and demand)
o Serve as a subject matter expert by developing and maintaining a breadth of knowledge across the IT systems in our client’s ecosystem, along with their domains and points of integration.
o Serve as the client point of contact for Solution Design and Estimation
o Understand and adhere to the terms of the contract between our client
*Experience/Skills Required*
o 2 – 4 years of experience as a Business Analyst / Business Technical Analyst / Technical Analyst for software development activities
o Strong, demonstrable analytical aptitude
o Strong verbal and written communication skills
o Strong organization skills
o Customer service focus
o Understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle
o Experience with requirements management or change management systems
o Ability to work in a fast-paced, often changing, and sometimes ambiguous environment
o Ability to balance multiple, sometimes competing priorities successfully
*Experience/Skills Preferred*
o Knowledge of the systems in our client’s ecosystem and their integration touch-points
o Experience with various software development methodologies
o Experience working on external eCommerce solutions
o Experience working on external consumer-facing mobile applications or websites
o Proactive, self-motivated, and team-working
o Desire to learn and develop professionally
*Education*
o Required: Bachelor's Degree
o Preferred: Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
*Requirements*
• Bachelor’s Degree.
• Excellent communication skills, analytical skills and a highly professional attitude are essential.
• Solid technical writing skills and functional documentation skills.
• Candidates should be familiar with a POS systems (preferred, not required)
• Experience using iPhone or Android.
• Familiarity with defect tracking systems such as TFS or Jira.
