Position: Azure SQL Server DBA

Location: Teaneck, NJ / may be remote

Duration: 6-12 Months Contract

Job Description:

. SQL Azure, SQL Server (2008, 2012, 2014 & 2016 Versions).

. Designing and Maintenance of data and database solutions.

. Migration of SQL server database from on premise to Azure IAAS/PAAS.

. Migration using Azure Site Recovery(ASR).

. Setting up and testing HA & DR(ASR).

. Experience in implementing multi-node windows/SQL HA .

. Always on implementation with multi instance availability group(SQL 2012/2014/2016).

. Performance Tuning & System Optimization.

. Database Health, Security .

. Data Analysis, Problem Analysis.

. Database installation, backups, Replication, Server Procurement, validation and Patching (as needed).

. Configure & Maintain Always On, Mirroring, log shipping, Replication management, Linked Servers and Security.

. Ensure and maintain a highly available and secure database environment .

. Analyzing and Upgrading to On-premise & Azure from lower versions of SQL Server.

. Troubleshooting and fine-tuning of databases for its performance and concurrency.

Mandatory Required Work Authorization, Photo ID Proof and (Passport Number or I-94) for client submission.
