· Virtual machines in VMware, windows based virtual machines.

· *Vsphere 6.5 with HA, Windows 2008/2012, Active Directory, Cisco UCS, PowerShell*
· This person is going to help migrate applications from existing datacenters to new datacenter.
· This will involve building new machines, understand applications at a high level, applications as well as off the shelf.
· Build machines, configuring machines, Powershell from a VMware 6 and Microsoft windows perspective.
· Understand how the applications will migrate to the new data center.
· Doing application remediation to ensure they work on the new Virtual machines.
· Cisco UCS is a plus.
*Day to day:*
-Understand and work with the application owners to understand how applications are installed and how they operate in the current environment.
-working with the server team to create the virtual machines, install the applications, configure and get things ready in the new data center.
-Supporting the application migration efforts, after hour work, weekend hours, etc for troubleshooting.
-400 applications that need to be migrated.
*Powershell- running scripts, possible in assisting in creation of scripts.*
