Job Description

• 10+years of relevant IT experience

• 5+ years of experience with Elasticsearch/Solr/Lucene and a strong understanding of indexing, search, schema design, information retrieval and relevance tuning

• 3+ years of experience working in a Linux Environment

• 3+ years of experience working with either Bash or Perl scripts

• 3+ years developing unit tests

• 3+ years of Git/SVN experience
 
• Experience with agile development methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, and Extreme Programming

• Experience with Web services and messaging technologies such as RabbitMQ or Kafka

• Mastery of at least one server-side language such as Go, Java, PHP or Python

• Solid understanding of API design

• Experience with relational databases (such as Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL)

• Knowledge and experience of monitoring tools (ELK stack, Prometheus, Grafana)

• JIRA experience a plus
