Citizens Bank is in need for a highly skilled JAVA developer who can assist our business clients with the development of a new Universal Account Opening systems. As a SR- JAVA Developer, this person will work with fellow technology and business associates to implement business solutions through best practice architectures, tools, and frameworks to provide the company with integrated

 

digital sales platform.
 
They will be supporting the organization's efforts to expand its corporate Sales capabilities- Strong communication and understanding of JAVA 1.8 is necessary for this position.
 
Primary responsibilities include:  
Develop web service data contracts and communicate them with 3rd party vendor. .
 
Develop web services using RESTfuI architecture and SOAP services.
 
Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices and standards .
 
Adheres to the established.
 
life cycle methodology, support standards, and practices, in accordance to project plans while carrying out their responsibilities. 

This may include maintaining program libraries and technical lob documentation of the individual components within an application . Using current programming.
 
Summary/Description:  
language and technologies, writes code, completes programming, and performs testing and debugging and/or break fixes of applications.
 
Completes documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance.
 
May interact with users to define system requirements and/or necessary modifications
 
Required Skills/Experience:
 
Working knowledge of JAVA 1-8, Jast implentation .
 
Worked on Spring Boot, Spring JDBC, Spring Security and Spring test-
 
Worked on writing JUNIT test cases (mockito) .
 

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment as part of a highly energetic development team working on multiple development tasks with quick turnaround times-

 

Candidate must be a team player who possess excellent leadership and interpersonal skills that works and communicates well with technical and non-technical resources.

 

Must have excellent oral and written communication skills and possess the ability to work with limited direction while being highly productive.

 

Preferred Skills/Experience:  
Experience working in Banking . 

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science.
