Role- Business Systems Analyst
 
Type: Contract

Supporting: Capital One

Responsibilities:

• Define solutions (requirements, designs, services, recommendations) to business/systems problems
• Partner with consumers, business SMEs and source system teams to analyze, internalize and translate business requirements and source data to develop:
· data requirements for upstream source systems
· source to target mapping
· data quality requirements
· processing requirements (business rules, aggregation, transformation)
· user acceptance test cases
· negative test scenarios
• Own the integrity of the solution through customer acceptance *(UAT)* and final disposition of solution for BAU acceptance
• Responsible for the development, maintenance, management, and delivery of technical information and documentation
• Interfaces with Product Management, customers, external consultants and information technology
• Usually possesses significant knowledge in one or more business functional areas
 
Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in fields such as Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, and Engineering or military experience
• At least 3+ years* of experience working as a Business Systems Analyst
• Capital One experience desired but not required
• Ability to effectively communicate across multiple levels and with both business and technical constituents
• Proven ability to lead a diverse group towards resolution when faced with ambiguous situations
• Strong Agile, CI/CD delivery knowledge and training and/or practical experience

• AWS certified cloud practitioner desired
