Knowledge and Skills: 

Extensive C/C++ experience required
Exposure to C# and Python development a plus
Experience with multi-core RTOS environments (RTX, IntervalZero, Intime, VxWorks, QNX)
Experience with modern X86 architectures
Understanding of real time operating systems concepts
Experience with computer communication protocols and associated tools (CAN, RS232, Ethernet, TCP/IP, USB)
Experience with industrial communication protocols (EtherCAT, Profinet, DeviceNet)
Good verbal and written communication skills demonstrated by providing presentation and/or training either on site or at customer location
Understanding of Agile and Lean concepts
Development of test plans and regression testing for validation of the software design
Work with sales and marketing providing technical communications between MKS and the customer
Experience with Design Patterns and modeling techniques a plus
Knowledge of PID and other control algorithms a plus

Education and Background 

BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science and 7+ years related experience
Track record of successes in developing real-time software for commercial/industrial products required
