Role name Consultant

Role Description 

• Refine business requirements and translate into technical solutions for data systems including data warehouses, cubes, marts, lakes, integrations, BI tools or other components.
• Be part of Client's scrum team and work on user stories
• Responsible for the full life cycle of data lake design and development of data warehouse solutions. • Design, code and construct data models, ETL processes, cubes, lakes and marts.
• Expert database developer with 3 - 5 years of experience in enterprise class database management systems; Exadata, Netezza, SQL Server or Teradata (preferred)
• Demonstrated understanding of design best practices and operational requirements of data warehouse solutions such as sizing, scaling, fault tolerance, performance tuning, security etc.

Competencies Digital : Amazon Web Service(AWS) Cloud Computing

Experience (Years) 7-10

Essential Skills 

Hands on experience on AWS including S3, EMR, Redshift, Data Pipeline, Athena and Kinesis
• REDSHIFT and EMR experience are a must have (Migration of On-Premise database platform to a AWS Cloud native Platform)
• Hands on implementation knowledge of Hadoop, Hive, Spark, Kafka, Apache Presto, Cassandra ,Columnar Databases
• Strong programming skills in Java, C++, Python, Ruby or similar
• 4 – 5 years of experience in coding on various AWS services like Cloud Formation Templates, Cloud Watch, Cloud Trail, encryption, logging and Lambda• Should be able to articulate the solution and provide proactive solutions to problems
• Should be able to contribute as an individual and as part of the larger team including offshore
• Advanced knowledge of AWS Services including:
• Management – Cloud Watch (Events/Logs), IAM, Cloud Trail, EC2 Systems Manager - Nice to have
• IaaS - EC2, VPC, EBS, ELB, KMS, Config, SNS, SQS, SES, SWF, S3, Glacier – Must have
• Data Management - Redshift, RDS, EMR, Data Pipeline, Kinesis, Dynamo DB — Must have
• Other - Server Migration, Storage Gateway - Nice / Must have

Desirable Skills
