The Oracle solution applications may also be utilized by other County departments, such as, Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk, Treasurer and Tax Collector, Auditor-Controller, Department of Consumer affairs – Real Estate Fraud Unit, and Department of Public Works. Their existing applications, databases and Information Technology Departments may also interface with the ASR’s Property Database (PDB) mainframe system. 

*DESCRIPTION OF WORK/DUTIES *

The Contractors shall perform all of the following duties:

 Perform/evaluate impact assessments, document production workflow, prioritize project tasks, and codify business requirements on an ongoing basis.

 Acts as technical expert for development and maintenance of systems utilizing Oracle powered software applications.
 
 Develop, test and implement Java and JSP.NET code for mission critical applications based on industry best practices.

 Install, configure, test, and implement new releases and patches of Java, JSP. NET software, APIs, and other components.

 Analyze and resolve errors and reported problems and exceptions from development websites and ETL applications.

 Provide weekly status reports to task supervisor on assigned tasks.

 Document all Java/JSP.NET programs, PLSQL Queries/Stored Procedures, and all related processes and procedures performed.

 Transfer all programming codes, scripting, and knowledge to internal staff.

 Follow industry best standards in handling source and version control.

*MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS *

The Consultant *must meet all *of the following minimum qualifications:

1. Three (3) years of experience, within the last five (5) years, with the following skills:

a. Java SDK

b. Development in Oracle Fusion Middleware Software Products and other Oracle Products

c. Git

d. Eclipse

e. XML/XSD/XSLT

f. Red Hat Linux Server

2. Three (3) years of experience within the last five (5) years developing applications using Java/JSP Application Programming Interface (API).

3. Three (3) years of experience within the last five (5) years implementing applications and system security including SSL certificates (HTTPS), SFTP, Encryption and role based security.
 
4. Three (3) years of experience within the last (5) years writing maintainable objected oriented code while adhering to general coding and documentation standards.
 
5. One (1) year of experience acting as a lead and/or participated in a software development team to produce a software application/product. 

6. One (1) year of experience installing and administering Oracle Solution Suites.
