Location: Woonsocket, RI

ob Description:

Need 8+ Years of experience as an Application Architect Translate business requirements to application design Includes working with business groups to review requirements documents.

Strong/clear written communication skills required.

Document it in ms word and visio
UML diagrams/use cases
Determine database tables required to store the requested user data.

o Indexing,

o Partitioning

o Space projections

o Compression

o Other table/index options, Etc…

Determine new/changed programs

o must be able to independently do research/learning on the current system, reviewing both code and documents.

o this includes Java, Unix shell scripts

o database queries/DML

Needs experience working with large datasets billion rows+ Needs experience developing software that results in high throughput, and service-based systems performing at least 100’s of transactions per second. Should be familiar with common challenges and solutions
