Techno-functional duties:

1 HANA Modelling and Architectural development:

1.1 Data sourcing for HANA modelling [Extraction, Transformation and Load (ETL) jobs in BODS for transferring data from SAP and non-SAP systems]

1.2 Design of SAP HANA data modelling objects [using Attribute View, Analytic View, Calculation View, Scripted views, Procedures, and Triggers], including for Predictive analytics, Text Analysis, BFL, R Integration.

1.3 Development of ABAP-programmed CDS views in Gateway Front End and Back End Servers.

1.4 Development of HANA Design time repository objects and transport to upper landscapes.

1.5 Development of HANA Hierarchies using standard and advanced HANA 2.0 functionalities.

1.6 Design and Build in HANA XS Advanced Runtime with exposure to microservices architecture with support to multi language runtimes like Node.js , Java, C++ including the setup of XSA identity provider.

1.7 Usage of File Loader for Binary File load for doing search on the content to do Text Analysis and Text Mining.

1.8 Design, implement, and monitor of SAP SLT replication schemas in SAP HANA [real time synchronization].

1.9 Monitoring/reviewing the quality and integrity of the reporting objects, including optimization of HANA model performance by analyzing Expensive Statement Trace, SQL Plan Cache, Runtime Statistics, Plan Visualization Etc.

1.10 Development of use cases and prototypes for different business scenarios for showcasing the capabilities and give management the options during decision making process

2 Front End Reporting and Data Visualization:

2.1 Development and customization of SAP User Interface application using SAPUI5, FIORI with integration to data sources using oData Services, CDS view, etc.

2.2 Development of advanced visualization scenarios using Tableau and SAP Lumira and integration to HANA for sourcing data.

2.3 Development of Front End Reports using Web Intelligence, Crystal Reports, Analysis Workspace and other reporting tools.

3 Experience and skill requirements

3.1 At least seven years of full-time progressive experience on HANA, including implementation of XS Advanced Architecture, Modelling and Development as well as Web Ide.

3.2 ABAP programming

3.3 Experience in scripting: (1) In SQL using advanced SQL and HANA functionalities.

3.4 Experience in scripting: (2) Java Script with knowledge in server side scripting like XSJS and node.js

3.5 Knowledge of: (1) Predictive Modelling, Text Analysis or any data mining skills.

3.6 Knowledge of: (2) Big Data and HANA hybrid scenarios preferred.

3.7 Ability to review functional specifications for data models, data reports, queries and other objects in the semantic layer.

3.8 "Experience in data extraction and loading from SAP and non-SAP source systems, including BODS, and data transformation in SAP BW. "

3.9 Ability to develop and review technical specifications and documentation.
