Title: .Net UI Developer

The Business Transformation team at the 2nd largest auto insurer in the US is looking for a highly motivated and creative developer with excellent C# .NET skills. The candidate should have a strong focus on the presentation layer and an eagerness to usher in the next big thing in human-to-machine interfaces, the conversational user interface. Only the strong should apply because in addition to being extremely capable in user interface development, the applicant must have or quickly develop an understanding of a wide array of technologies in use such as: common JavaScript frameworks (Angular, Bootstrap, or React), CosmosDB or MongoDB, Enterprise Service Bus (ESB), and IBM's Watson Conversation Services. The candidate must be comfortable working with analysts, developers and architects across multiple teams to collaboratively to come up with creative solutions to complex problems.

Requirements

·         5+ years designing and developing .NET applications using Visual Studio, C#, Web API, WCF, SQL, ADO.NET, JavaScript, and JavaScript frameworks

·         5+ years SQL Server Database design and development experience

·         A solid understanding of OO, SOA, and messaging design patterns

·         Experience working on Agile teams

·         Experience unit testing JavaScript with Jasmine

·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Desired Skills

·         Experience working in Azure Cloud Environment (PaaS & IaaS)

·         Experience working with Microsoft CosmosDB

·         Experience with JSON schemas, RAML, and/or Swagger

·         Experience with natural language processing engines (NLP)

·         Experience developing conversational user interfaces

·         An understanding of Sonar and code quality metrics

US Citizens or green card holders willing to work temp-to-perm are preferred.
