Scott has informed me that we have a need for Web Designers who can start designing our web-based Child Support screens. This is a miss in our staffing plan and is not on our list of job descriptions. We can utilize

one of the existing titles to on board these resources and will get the staffing plan updated accordingly.

 

Essentially, I'm looking for someone who has some experience redesigning an existing command line, legacy (Software AG Natural) application interface into a modern web-based user interface. This would include pure screen

design (layout and navigation) and have experience translating visual designs into cascading style sheets (CSS) and basic HTML. 

If they have experience in user experience (UX, also called interaction design, information mapping), that's a big plus.

5+ years of experience with Web Development/Front end Design working with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and Experience Designer.

The ideal UI Designer should have experience in Axure, Sketch, Illustrator, Photoshop, or Adobe Experience Designer. They should also have experience translating visual designs into CSS and basic HTML. They must be able to effectively communicate website functionality through the use of colors, typography, and iconography. They should also have a basic understanding of user experience (UX) principles. Their key responsibilities include: 1)

Creating the visual design of a website based on an existing command line, legacy (Software AG Natural) application while following a set of design standards. 2) Communicate visual design via presentations, style guides,

and standards documents. 3) Translating visual design into CSS. 4) Assist UX designers with developing interaction design experience. 3) Understanding of basic user testing.
