This is a Sybase developer position for someone familiar with Sybase ASE, and with basic Sybase database administrator skills running on a SolarisLinus platform. Candidate must be proficient in UNIX commands and scripting. Candidate must also have a ready knowledge of stored procedures and triggers with good debugging and investigative skills. There will be a lot of communication required outside of IT, i.e. with various business units within FX. Need someone who is flexible and willing to ta

 

Top 3 responsibilities you would expect the Subcon to shoulder and execute

Produce logical data models that model the trading of various financial instruments.

Translate logical data models into a physical database design with emphasis on performance.

Work with FX application manangers on the redesign of the current trading database
