Position: Pega System Architect (CSA)

Location: 1001 Spruce Street, Trenton, NJ 08638 (*Local to NJ*)

Position Description:

The CSA will be under the direct supervision of the chief of the AOC's Information Technology Office (ITO) or other designated ITO representative.

The CSA will be required to collaborate with Business Analysts and to develop new systems and/or enhanced functionality utilizing the PEGA BPM platform.

The CSA will be required to attain a complete understanding of requirements.

The CSA’s primary responsibility will be to develop and/or modify programs, successfully unit test their work, develop supportive documentation, and to participate with the business analysts and/or users in the system testing of their programs.

They will, in many cases, write system requirements based upon the business requirements received.

Skills Required:

A system architect is an application developer who contributes object-oriented design and technical implementation skills to an application development project.

The CSA should be knowledgeable in the following PEGA RULES Process Commander (PRPC) and Professionals areas: Data Modelling, Automating Business Rules, User Experience, Reporting Capabilities, Administration, Security, Application Build Technical Skills: Expert in PRPC 6.0 and above.

Exposure to full life-cycle experience in large systems, preferably in the government domain.

The CSA should have the ability to understand the requirements / use cases and to effectively implement an application to meet those requirements.

The CSA should be able to communicate with management on project status.

The CSA should have good written and verbal communication skills.

Experience Required:

Minimum of 2 years of experience in developing solutions utilizing PEGA

Education Required:

4-year college degree or equivalent technical study PEGA Certification as a System Architect (CSA) (THIS CERTIFICATION IS A MUST, NEED TO INCLUDE THE YEAR CERTIFICATION WAS OBTAINED)
