Job Title: IT Mobile Application Developer II (Android)
Client: AEP IT
Duration: 12 months contract (RTH)
Location: 1 Riverside Plaza, Columbus, Ohio 43215
Visa:- USC/GC/GC-EAD
Mode of Interview: Phone and Onsite (locals)

IMPORTANT: For Android; Experience doing mobile app development, paired programming, or TDD emphasized on resume.

We are looking for someone with mobile app development experience and fluency that has the passion and desire with TDD and paired programming.

This position will be on the iOS or Android platform. Proficiency with both is a significant plus.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Willingness to develop new skills and learn new programming languages as needed
• Quality-focused development practices such as test-driven development (TDD), continuous integration, and pair programming
• Passion for making useful, usable products that make our customers' lives better
• Experience building mobile applications in Agile environments
• Ability to collaborate and communicate ideas effectively with a broad group of stakeholders
• Published at least one mobile app
• Rich experience creating reactive touch-based interfaces
• Knowledge of GIT source code management
• Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON

DESIRED SKILLS: 

• Experience in working with mobility at an enterprise corporation
• Knowledge of the Android SDK • Solid in multiple object-oriented languages (Swift, Java, C#, etc.)

Minimum requirements

• 2 years of experience in Mobile Applications Development:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science and 2-4 years IT Software Developer experience or
• Associates Degree with 4-6 years IT Software Developer related experience or
• High School Diploma/GED with 6+ years IT Software Developer experience.
