Position: Mainframe Tester
Duration: 6-12 Month Contract
Location: Horsham, PA

Test planning and execution:

-Review and provide input on all project level documentation.
-Assists in developing detailed testing estimates and timelines
-Assess and interpret customer needs and requirements
-Ensure alignment of quality/test plans to business case
-Create requirement/test case relationship using ALM (traceability).
-Execute test and identify defects
-Log, track, and validate resolution of identified defects.
-Identify risks and escalate quality concerns to management
-Develop, document and implement risk mitigation plans.
-Identify solutions to nonstandard requests and problems

Required Technical and Analytical Skills:

-Experience with claim processing systems in the health insurance industry -JCL, DB2 and SQL is a must
-Experience with IBM Utilities and TSO/ISPF (Experience with various mainframe file and data manipulation tools such as Syncsort, Fileaid for VSAM)
-Proven communication and documentation skills is a must
-Application Lifecycle Management (ALM)
-Strong background in Microsoft office tools
-Ability to work independently within a quickly changing environment with strict deadlines
-Strong analytical skills
-Strong attention to detail
-Strong troubleshooting analysis skills
-Must be a quick learner
-Mainframe development background is a plus
