Looking for a creative and versatile Sr. Business Process Analyst/Architect with extensive experience in the Quote to Cash (Q2C) Finance area. This person will work closely with the various finance stakeholders (Operations, Global Process Owners, SOX etc.) and IT teams to lead various finance transformation initiatives that will enable the finance organization to scale and support business strategy along being compliant. The ideal candidate must be able to use a collaborative, professional, and service-oriented approach to interacting with these business partners with strong communication skills and interpersonal skills.

 

Responsibilities:  

Leading the efforts of assessing the current state, defining end state for each of business process/function, identifying the capabilities required and managing capability roadmaps.

 

Benchmarking with industry standards as well as digital transformation trends and providing advisory to business on best practices

 

Works with Q2C Finance stakeholders and other cross-functional business partners to prioritize process transformation initiatives and support project scoping exercise.

 

For assigned projects, drives the process of documenting current “as-is” and “to-be” business processes and gathering requirements and uses cases from the BPOs and other subject matter

 

experts (“SMEs”); owns the overall drafting of the business requirements document (“BRD”), test scripts for user acceptance testing (“UAT”), and training materials for various transformation

 

Initiatives  

Collaborates with BizApps (IT team) and other cross functional systems teams during design and support implementation of business solutions

 

Partners with global and regional BPOs and BizApps on change control process as needed

 

Prepares user training documents and delivers user training for newly developed applications; assists with update / creation of high-level business process documentation

 

Provide regular status updates, highlight risk and issues to PMO

 

Works with project team on completing business readiness documentation; collaborates with the business owners and users to prepare for business readiness and transfer knowledge of new process / system

 

Key Competencies:  

Expertise in QTC business transformation (including policy, process and systems) focused from finance perspective. Oracle EBS experience preferred

 

Experience in Industry bench marking, business architecture and managing capability roadmaps

 

Experience in defining the business capabilities and requirements both for internal custom applications as well as third party ERP products

 

Understanding of Quote-To-Cash general business operations, and internal controls; ability to assess and provide input into impact of a business process / system change

 

Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as internal personal skills, Familiarity with business practices and cultures across multiple international regions

 

Strong organizational and business analysis skills; detail-oriented and able to work independently, multi-task, and manage smaller scale projects

 

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, identify gaps, decompose high-level information into details, and drive

 

decision-making
 
Team player, flexible, and ability to resolve conflicts and working with global teams
 
Experience in working both Waterfall as well as Agile project methodologies
 
Education and Experience:  
Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accounting or related field preferably CPA, CA etc.
 
8+ years of progressive experience as business analyst and/or business architect focused on Finance area (especially Quote to Cash Finance).
 
Experience on Record to Report (R2R) as well as Procure to Pay (P2P) is nice to have
 
Experience in leading E2E business transformational projects/programs globally
 
Experience in Hi-Tech/SaaS based company is highly preferred
 
Previous operational experience in QTC or general accounting / finance experience highly preferred
