Position: Lead Full Stack Engineer(React)

Duration: 12+ Months Contract

Duties: You will be building and supporting the next generation applications for web in Live entertainment.

The Lead Engineer will be responsible for developing new features and extending existing features of our web apps. This is a hands-on role. The engineer will also be required to understand all aspect of our platform including front end and backend technologies; develop high quality code, perform code reviews, write unit tests, optimize SQL and conform to the latest best practices.

Responsibilities
· Architect and design scalable solutions for WebApps.
· Collaborate with product and design teams to define, iterate and implement new features
· Provide technical leadership around the delivery of component designs and development
· Proven understanding of project tracking and Agile development methodologies.
· Actively contribute to codebase
· Breakdown tasks
· Perform Code Reviews
· Run team using Agile Methodology
· Plan Sprints
· Run Backlog grooming
· Finalize tickets

Required Skills:
· 5+ years of professional full stack development using NodeJs, React for WebApps.
· 3+ years of leadership experience with Engineering teams
· Must have 2-3 years of experience in REST api’s, Gulp, WebPack, CSS, SASS.
· Must 2 – 3 years of experience with relational or NoSQL databases such as MongoDB.
· Must have at least 2 years of experience in one of popular agile practice Scrum using Jira
· Must have experience with CI/CD pipeline and tools: Jenkins, SonarQube, Istanbul.
· Experience with some test driven development tools and techniques: Protractor, Mocha, Chai, Sinon, Mockito, REST-assured, Cucumber, and JMeter.

· Exposure to build application services on Amazon cloud services (AWS) or other cloud environments.

· Experience working with cross-functional teams encompassing product, design, engineering, and analytics.

· Eager to engage in a whiteboard discussion on any topic
· Experience as a senior technical member of an Agile team and proven ability to influence
· Experience developing responsive web applications for a range of devices and browsers is a strong plus
· Must be located in the tri-state area

Nice to Have:
· 1-2 Years of experience in Angular and/or Ruby will be a huge plus.
· A GitHub or BitBucket account with a pet project or two.
· Experience with Selenium is a plus
· Understanding of AWS + Docker deployment strategies.
· Experience with high traffic, consumer facing websites.
· Experience with JWT (Json web tokens)
· Experience with developing api’s using REST.
· Certified Scrum Master
