How will you make an impact? *Participate in the development of multi-tier distributed applications in a Java and TIBCO environment
Work with business owners to gather requirements, prepare functional specifications, form project plans and communicate progress throughout the software development lifecycle
Create technical and functional design documents
Create, validate and enhance prototypes for projects
Analyze and design technical solutions for complex business requirements
Development to include new product development, customization and enhancements
Create efficient SQL queries and understands how to optimize them for performance
Work with an outsourcer for collaborative application development and collaborative programming
Experience developing applications within a disciplined development methodology such as SDLC, UML, etc.
Skills required to be successful in this role:
5+ years of application development using Java, JSP, JavaScript, HTML and CSS
3+ years of experience in an enterprise information technology environment developing Java based client-server applications using Java, JSP, JavaScript, HTML and CSS
Experience in developing applications using SQL against rational databases including DB2LUW and SQL Server
Experience in J2EE based design, development, implementation and support of large scale projects using object oriented design and design patterns
Experience analyzing situation errors, tasking, act and verify results J2EE experience (JAX-RS, JAX-WS, JPA)
Excellent web development skills in client/server environment
Experience developing applications within a disciplined development methodology such as SDLC, UML, etc.
JavaScript frameworks like ExtJS and jQuery
EDI, flat file transactions and communication
Web Services using SOAP and RESTFUL models Experience in XML
Create and work with various UML artifacts such as use cases, class diagrams, sequence diagrams and activity diagrams
Working experience with JBoss
Skills Preferred
SQL Server including SSIS packages and SSRS reporting
Design patterns and user interface design
Testing methodologies, strategies and automated tools
Experience with Fortify and Jenkins
Knowledge of EAI messaging standards like WebSphere, MQ, and JMS Messaging
Knowledge of understanding of any TIBCO technology
Experience defining and managing system requirements through the system development life cycle Experience designing and developing large systems with high availability, scalable performance, service oriented and loosely
coupled integration
