Job Description:
Summary Position Description:
Critical skillset for this role will be Strong SQL, Data mart, Data modeling, Claims, RAF, HEDIS.
Responsibilities:
Interpret business requirements, design data models, design data models, build data marts, and develop SSRS and Power BI reports
Design, develop, and unit test new database code to support requirements, using database triggers, stored procedures, and views
Develop ad-hoc reports and provide key insights to the business stakeholders
Work closely with business and IT stakeholders to define problems and design large-scale, enterprise class solutions
Translate highly complex concepts into data marts that can be understood by a variety of technical and non-technical audiences
Troubleshoot and resolve data gaps or design deficiencies as they appear
Review and analyze ongoing customer requests
Performs all other related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Education:
BS or MS degree in Computer Sciences, Computer Engineering, Computer Information systems, or related field
Experience:
5+ years of SQL Server development experience
3+ years of database design and development
Specialized Abilities:
Data warehouse and/or data mart design and development experience
Experience writing and tuning SQL queries for optimized performance in a large data volume environment
Experience working with Healthcare Payer and/or Managed Care data from a data profiling, analysis, and modeling perspective, with a solid understanding of the relevant Healthcare business processes.
Experience with Power BI is a plus
